what i didn't expect was how different the textures actually come out depending on which program you pick. the soft serve setting gives you something genuinely soft and scoopable right out of the machine, not that brick-hard stuff you usually get.
the bowl chills down faster than i expected before churning starts. i can prep my base, pour it in, pick a program, and have finished ice cream in a reasonable amount of time without a lot of babysitting involved 👏.
Told my sister to grab one of these after she complained about her old machine leaving ice crystals in every batch. She was skeptical but picked one up anyway, and she texted me saying her first custard base came out silky smooth. We both use it regularly now.

My last ice cream maker would get so loud mid-cycle that I had to move it to another room. This one runs quietly enough that I forget it's even on. Made a full batch of strawberry last night and barely noticed it humming on the counter.
honestly the touch controls on this thing are so clean to use. three pints is the perfect amount for my household, fits two adults and a couple of kids without anyone fighting over the last scoop ❤️!
Three pints turns out to be a really practical capacity. It's enough for a decent family batch but not so much that the machine is bulky or hard to store. I keep it on the counter between uses and it doesn't take over the whole space.
I was worried the 10 programs would be overwhelming and I'd just ignore most of them, but they're actually laid out really intuitively on the touch panel. I've used at least six of them so far and each one gives a noticeably different texture. The sorbet setting alone was worth it.

The touch panel is genuinely responsive, not one of those screens where you have to press three times to register. Each of the 10 programs is labeled clearly so I always know exactly what mode I'm in. I mostly use the gelato and frozen yogurt settings and the results are consistently good.
