I was worried about noise since I keep mine on the kitchen counter and spend a lot of time in that room. It runs quietly enough that I barely notice it, which honestly surprised me given how powerful 280 watts sounds on paper.
My last dehydrator ran so hot that everything came out either burnt on the edges or still soggy in the middle. This one heats evenly across all five trays, and I've had consistent results every single time I've used it.
Told my friend to get one after I got mine. She was worried the trays would warp or crack after a few uses because she'd had that happen before with a cheap one. She's had it a while now and everything still fits together perfectly, no warping at all.
Five trays is plenty for my needs. Happy with it.

The five trays give you a decent amount of space to work with. I can do a whole batch of fruit slices and some herbs at the same time without them crowding each other, which makes the whole process much more efficient.
honestly just use it without overthinking it. Threw in some apple slices, set it going, came back later and they were perfectly done. No fuss, no weird hot spots, no checking every hour.
