The metal frame is what makes this feel different from the cheap ones. You can tell it's not going to bend or tip over. I stacked a good amount of shoes in it and the whole thing stays completely upright and rigid. And Im glad its black

Each cube holds a pair comfortably with a little room to spare. Nothing is crammed or stacked at weird angles. My shoes are actually easy to see and grab, which sounds basic but my old setup was a total mess compared to this.

honestly the detachable panels work way better than I expected. I have a weird closet shape and being able to rearrange them meant it actually fit the space. My old rack was one fixed shape and I had to force it in at a weird angle.

What I really like is that the panels actually come off so you can configure it however you want. I left one side open to fit taller boots and used the panels on the other cubes for smaller shoes. It's surprisingly flexible for something so simple.
This is one of those things you don't think much about until you have it and then wonder how you managed without it. My shoe collection is finally under control and everything has its own spot.

told my friend to get one because she was nervous about the whole cube style, said she thought the panels would just fall out. She texted me a week later saying she loves it and everything stays in place perfectly. We both have them now.
I was a little skeptical about the metal frame being sturdy enough for heavier shoes but it handles my husband's work boots and my high boots without any bowing or creaking. Really solid build for what it is.

the tiered design means the shoes at the back are still visible because each row sits a little higher. I can actually see every pair without moving anything around. Whoever designed the angle on this knew what they were doing.
