What I noticed straight away is how the flip fronts sit completely flush when closed. So from across the room it just looks like a slim cabinet, you'd never guess there were shoes stacked inside. Really clean look for a hallway.
The flip compartments seal up nice and flat so the whole thing looks tidy against the wall. I was worried it might look bulky or cheap but it genuinely looks smart in my hallway, almost like a little console unit rather than a shoe storage thing.

honestly the drawer on top is sturdier than i expected. i had one from another brand where the drawer kept sliding out on its own, but this one has a proper stop so it stays closed. my friend had the same concern when i told her to get one, and she loves it too.
The top drawer is actually really handy, I keep my keys, dog lead and post in there so the surface stays clear. Then the flip compartments below hold a surprising number of pairs, the way they angle in means you can fit more than you think.

The top is a decent size for a lamp or a little plant, and the drawer underneath it is deep enough to actually be useful. Then you've got all the flip storage below. It's doing three jobs in a very slim footprint, which is exactly what I needed.
