The LED light built into this is genuinely bright enough to light up the whole room on its own. I don't need any other light source when it's on full. For a fan light that's honestly better than I expected 😊.

Bought this for a room with low ceilings and honestly it fits perfectly flush against the ceiling with no wobble or gap issues. My old fan hung down way too far and always felt like it was in the way. This one sits tight and looks clean.
What I actually appreciate is that the remote lets you control the fan speed and the light brightness separately. I can have the light dimmed low and the fan on high and it remembers my settings. Little thing but it makes a real difference at night.
