Five trays sounds like a lot but they all fit neatly and the airflow is even across every single one. I was making beef jerky for my pets and the pieces on the top tray came out just as good as the bottom 🤩.

What I keep noticing is how evenly evrything dries. No rotating trays halfway through, no checking if one side is done before the other. The heat circulates well and five trays gives me enough space to do a big batch in one go.
The temperature dial is really satisfying to use, you can tell it's precise. I dry herbs at a lower setting and jerky at a higher one without any guesing. Having that control makes such a difference in the final texture.

The timer is genuinely useful. I set it before bed when I'm doing a long low-temperature run and it just turns itself off. Woke up to perfectly dried apple slices without any worry about over-drying.

honestly just glad this thing doesn't smell like burning plastic when it runs. had that problem with two different cheap ones before and it drove me crazy. this one runs clean and quiet.

Told my neighbor to get one after she said she was nervous about leaving a dehydrator running unattended. The timer takes care of it, just shuts off automatically when it's done. She ended up loving it as much as I do.
