my last blanket was so hot I could only use it in winter, then it just sat in the closet all spring and summer. this one I actually suitable to use through the whole year.. it's warm but not suffocating, which is exactly what I needed
I was worried a double sided blanket would be too thick and heavy to sleep under comfortably, but it's actually really well balanced. it keeps you warm without trapping heat, so I don't wake up sweating in the middle of the night like I used to with my old one
told my mom to buy one of these because she kept saying her blankets looks so old and feels uncomfy after a few washes. just gifted it to her last xmas and texted me saying it still looks and feels just as soft as when she first got it. now i just bpught another to myself lmao

the breathability is real and not just marketing language. I've used it in warmer months with just a sheet and it works fine, and in the colder months I layer it and it holds heat well. it actually does what they say it does for all seasons.

the two sides genuinely feel different from each other, one side has that classic soft fleece feel and the other has more of a flannel texture. depending on my mood or the temperature I just flip it over, which sounds small but I actually use it all the time.
what I noticed pretty quickly is that it doesn't get that clammy feeling under the covers. most blankets I've had trap moisture and get uncomfortable after a while but this one stays feeling fresh even after a full night's sleep under it.
it's just a really good blanket. nothing complicated about it, it keeps me warm when I need it and doesn't overheat me when I don't. my cat has also claimed one corner of it which I take as a good sign.
