what i really like is how tall it is. at 41 inches it actually circulates the cool air at a level that reaches you when you're sitting or standing, not just blowing at your ankles like a shorter unit would. made a noticeable difference in how well it cools the room.
my last evaporative cooler was so loud i had to turn it off just to watch tv. this one runs on the lower settings almost silently, which i didn't expect at all. been running it in my bedroom at night with no issues.

you can feel the difference between the fan speeds pretty clearly on this one. low is gentle and quiet, high actually moves a serious amount of air. nice that the range is wide enough to actually matter depending on how hot it is.
Good quality and easy to move around the house. The wheels make it simple to take from room to room, which I do pretty often.
Can't imagine getting through the warmer months without this now. It runs quietly enough that it doesn't bother anyone and actually keeps the space comfortable. Really glad I got it.
The water tank on this holds enough that I'm not constantly refilling it. I can run it through a whole afternoon and evening before it needs topping up. For something portable that you're moving room to room, that's exactly what you want.

ok so i've had ones before where the remote just stops working after a couple weeks and you're stuck getting up every time. this one still responds every single time, from across the room too. no issues with it at all so far.
The remote is genuinely useful on this. Being able to set the timer from the couch so it shuts off while I'm falling asleep is one of those small things that makes a real difference. I didn't think I'd use it that much but I use it every single night.
