Each drawer glides open smoothly and there's enough depth to lay shoes flat without cramming them in. I've got bigger shoes in the bottom drawer and smaller flats in the top one and everything fits without that awkward diagonal stacking I used to have to do.

Very pleased with this purchase. It holds more than I expected given how slim it is, and the top surface is a welcome bonus for putting things down when I come through the door.
i needed something that wouldn't dominate my small hallway and this is genuinely perfect for that. slim enough to not be in the way but big enough to actually be useful.
The flip compartments are a nice touch because you can see exactly which pair is inside before you open it fully. I keep my most-worn shoes in those sections and use the drawers underneath for less regular pairs. having that split between the two storage types is actually really practical.
I was worried it would feel flimsy since it's described as slim, but it feels really solid once it's together. The top surface is sturdy enough that I put my bag and keys on it every day without any wobbling or flexing.
